As I was processing the IR samples, I noticed something interesting in the EXIF data. It says the 1DX was shot using a 50mm f2.5 and a 1.4 teleconverter! The D4, on the other hand, was shot with a standard 70mm lens. This means the 1DX actually received Less light than the D4 even with the longer shutter speed. For them to be equal, the 1DX should have been set to 1/1250. I should also add that evaluating detail will no longer be valid either. Looks like the tables have turned.

The LSC is a "Life Size Converter" to make the 50mm macro 1:1 at 70mm:
