To be honest I myself have to take a second look to spot the "X" in the more expensive kit.

A little more research into what you are buying might be helpful. As for other lens suggestions, the camera works quite well with the 20mm f/1.7 and the 14mm f/2.5. The wide aperture of the 20mm will help you keep your ISO down. The 25mm f/1.4 is great, but very expensive.
