What would you say your price budget is? I would suggest going with the Fuji Finepix X10. It's got a nice CMOS 12MP sensor, it has an optical view finder (if you're into that?) and it's also manual zoom, 28-112mm. It shoots in RAW (actually it's quite known for it's raw, as well as it JPEG quality) and it's an F 2.8 lens as well. I've played around with it at the store I work at (Lens and Shutter, and actual photography store) and it's seriously a nice camera
