I agree with you that Sigma probably is not the best company to introduce a new sensor technology on the market. Their tries have been rather painful, and the success not so large.

But , they did it. No one else wanted to.

And the DP cameras are rather interesting. Small, and simple and high IQ. And good lenses.

The SD cameras on the other hand is a totally other business IMHO. The competition is much better at making such things. So - a Foveon sensor in a Canon, Nikon, Pentax or Sony DSLR would be very interesting.

And you know all this because of your extensive personal experience actually using Sigma cameras. Yes?
