If I am correct, Sigma’s first DSLR was based on one of the Nikon bodies. Why they couldn’t repeat the same approach today? The Foveon sensor and the Sigma lens are really very good, but that’s it. They should just borrow, licence, buy, copy (steal :)) some good body of a reputable camera maker.
