No manufacturer will reveal their plans.

As I've said before, the lack of information keeps a lot of people from switching in the hope that the camera they are waiting for will come with the features they are after. Of course if they leave it too long, and p*ss users off it could backfire on them, but in that time they may not have lost users to a rival, and the may have even have bought a few lenses while they are waiting. it all works for Nikon. And indeed other manufacturers too. If and when will there be a Canon 7DII for example? I don't hear Canon telling anyone.

It is amazing to me how secret the manufacturers can keep their plans most of the time.
