First? I haven't had any problems with non-panny batteries on my fz35.

Send them a message asking about shipping to the US - or other countries.
As I understand it the FZ150 was one of the first Panny cameras to allow use of non-panny batteries without the crippling of the battery information.
I know that the FZ100 did not show battery condition, and the GH2 does not, but as well as the FZ150, it seems the FZ200 allows it too - which is good.
