Well you have found the market they want to sell this camera to. Film guys/gals who have or plan to have some good quality cine lenses. Where have a known light throughput is important (hence the use of a T-stop) and the large manual focus rings and controls.

The specs of the current model, which isnt u43, really points this towards pro users. To clarify, that is people who are earning a living from using this equipment.
