The sensor still doesn't work properly. If it wasn't for the dozen or so shills posting here (with religious fervour) the Sigma/Foveon thingie would disappear.

That seems very unlikely given the constant influx of new users of the years in regards to the DP cameras, and especially ignorant of the reaction from the many reviews that have been posted. Many non-Sigma users are very excited about this camera because for the first time it's far and away obvious how much better a Foveon 15MPx3 sensor is than a Bayer 15MPx3 sensor which are in many of the cameras it's being compared with.

More religious fervour.

Sigma has a real hit on its hands with the DP-M cameras. People love the output from these things, and we see more new users here every day excited about what they have...

If they are terribly patient. I'm really annoyed about having to wait 12 to 15 seconds for an image to be written to card.

Oh, tis a sad time for those who have yearned for the dissolution of Sigma cameras throughout the years. But then they never could comprehend the commitment that Sigma really had to cameras, could never dream of the technical prowess at work improving sensors.

What prompted you to add that puerile nonsense?
