Lenses I use on my NEX-3:
Primes:
The first four are used exclusively on NEX…
Left to Right:
8mm f/2.8 Rokinon Fisheye (E mount)
24mm f/2.8 Soligor (Tokina T4-Minolta MD mount)
50mm f/1.4 Super Takumar (M42 Screw mount)
90mm f/2.5 Elicar V-HQ Macro (Contax/Yashica mount)

The next four are used on A55 and NEX (all A mount)
Right to Left:
35mm f/1.8 DT SAM Sony
70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Sigma
135mm f/2.8 STF Sony
200mm f/2.8 APO HS Minolta

Zooms

Last two are exclusively NEX…
16-50mm f/2.8 SSM Sony (Sony A mount)
18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 HSM OS DC Sigma (Sony A mount)
60-300mm f/4-5.6 Kalimar/Cosina (Sony A mount)
70-210mm f/2.8-4 Vivitar/Komine (Konica AR mount)
18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Sony (Sony E mount)

I LOVE the flexibility that NEX affords and especially for someone who has A mount body and lenses. I use mine via LA-EA1 adapter since I shoot MF mostly anyway (even on my A55). But I am considering adding LA-EA2 to use the lovely Minolta 200G on my NEX more. While LA-EA2 is relatively expensive ($300), it makes a lot of sense to invest in one (over buying a new lens) with A-mount lenses and especially if you want to take advantage of super fast PDAF focusing on NEX on occasions, and enjoy the beauty of legacy lenses leisurely.

And since you mention A37 as well, I would highly recommend Tamron 90mm f/2.8 for A-mount. It is a superb macro lens, and very light to boot (perfect for light weight outings with NEX, or A37).

EinsteinsGhost! Thanks for the photos of your most interesting lenses, it's very good of you. That's a lot for me to think about. I'll report back on what I use and how I get on.
