D90 in the Canadian Rockies
Sep 6, 2012

Get a D7000? Wait for the 7100? Or a D800? D600? D-what? We all know how that goes. I decided to just use what I have on my trip from Banff to Jasper. The D90 performed very well, except that it apparently doesn't like the cold very much, causing it to respond a bit sluggishly to the shutter release button sometimes. But as landscapes don't run away, this was a minor issue. Lenses were 12-24 DX (love it), 16-85 DX, and 70-300 VR. Most shots using a tripod.
