Does Anyone Want to Talk me out of a cheap lens?

In my somewhat humble opinion the only difference is that the 1.4 is better at very wide apertures. At f'4 I've never seen anything with more resolution than the 1.8 except of course a few Zeiss lenses I owned many years ago. Maybe I just have an exceptional copy. i paid $117.00 for it.
