Even though I almost always use center AF, it detects faces very nicely. Even on center AF, it will show white square(s) when it detects faces which is very nice. AF speed is very impressive. I feel it is faster than the NEX-5N.

Metering in normal situation is very reliable. Those photos I took at Medieval Times, I used + and - compensation on some of them as the lighting changes from spot light to full lit. You can see from the EXIF which photos I used compensation on. I probably could have gotten away not using it though.

Pressing the power button from off it is ready to shoot in 2-3 seconds.

How is the auto-focus system and the face detection?

How is the metering? Does it get it right most of the time or does it tend to under/over expose?

How long is the start up time to take a photo? Does it turn on quickly or do you have to wait a bit in order to take a picture?
