Shanghai 24-70?2,8L II's at 2900USD

If supply is limited, prices are usually very high for new camera gear in China.

The D800 started off around RMB27,000 and has just dropped under 21,000.

24-70II is RMB 19,000 here in Beijing but I expect it will get to RMB 15,000 at some stage (70-200 MK II debuted at 19,000 in Beijing and is now 14,999).

The strange thing is that the old 24-70 was RMB9,900 and has now risen to 13,000. I guess stock may be running low?

I use http://www.rayi.cn/ as a reference. By no means the cheapest shop but the website is decent and they sell official stock
