X-E1 Auto focus upgrade the same as in new X-Pro1 FW update?

Looking at the comments on the Camera Stores X-E1 preview video they seem to mention that the X-Pro1 will be getting the same AF speed update when the firmware releases in mid September..... Could this be true?

They did. As an extra bonus, X-Pro1 users get the new AF as a firmware upgrade!
