Identify Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D US version or grey market

Hi

How do I know my Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D is US version or gray market. On http://www: kenrockwell.com. He said that US version’s serial number prefixed with US. But I did not see it on my us version lens.
