I was going to sell the GXR, but one day I took the EVF off the camera and put on a Zeiss ZM 21/4.5 lens.
Now I love this combination - it's like a GRD with a quality scale focus lens.
I use the LCD only in edge detect mode.

The M9 is used with my fast, long and wide lenses.

I love the GXR with the CV 15/4.5 LTM version. It's a 22.5mm eq. wide angle lens that works so well for zone focusing, and the depth of field is long enough to be almost impossible to misfocus. When I first tried this combination, I was using it all the time!

Often, I'm using the M9 and GXR at the same time, so I can have two focal lengths with very similar output signatures. If Ricoh announces the discontinuation of the GXR line I will buy one more spare body and perhaps a spare M- module.
