just in case somebody wants to see how Asahi Takumar 58mm metal hood (for Takumar 135/2.5 or Takumar 200/4) looks mounted :

That is exactly what I'm using. I used to have a lot of Pentax lenses and I found this hood at the back of a shelf, a leftover from the old days. It's a great hood and also works on the 40-150, (no vignetting at 40mm). It's wide enough to fit reversed over the lens in the camera bag and not take up extra room. I was thinking about posting a picture of it here but you beat me to it. I have a GH2 also.

lens cap for this hood will be a problem - outside diameter is ~73mm and inside diameter is 71mm

I found a Vivitar 72mm clip-on cap that sort of works. It's not an air-tight fit, but it doesn't pop off without squeezing the clips. The clips grip the internal grooves quite well. It's not perfect but is better than nothing.
