OMD has better DR than FF, so what?

I don't think that's a really fair comparison. The X10 image was taken at ISO100 and 1/100, while the E-M5 was at ISO200 and 1/400. The Fuji image therefore has received (about one stop) more light, thus cleaner shadows. Fuji pulled back the highlights to gain the DR. With the E-M5, you can do the same from the RAW files.
