Which manual focus 250mm+?

Hi All

Whilst i would love the DA * 300mm, it's a bit out of my price range at the mo. So i was wondering if there are any good value manual focus alternatives that provide similar IQ at a reduced price.

I currently have the 55-300mm which is very good for the money but can't match a good prime.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
