Yes by looking at the mirror with no lens on. It's to the right hand side of mirror.
Infact if you look closely at the mirror the spec is to right of what looks like all the important part of mirror. The middle of the mirror looks the technical bit? I assume !

Are you actually seeing this mark on the mirror by looking at the mirror? If you are only seeing it through the viewfinder it might not be on the mirror, it could be on the piece of glass in the optical path above the mirror, if so try the blower treatement on that.
