Noise test 5D vs D800e 100% crop

• Lightroom 4, no sharpening, no noise reduction, no correction at all.

5D (classic) (ISO1600) RAW

D800E (ISO3200) RAW

I guess the better ISO performance are only in JPG with post-processing ?

But he have 36mp to allow more reach, he can take higher iso for more dof or faster shutter speed (but he will have more noise).

I think I will keep my 5D for a while ...
