Why so many Q B&W, Cross Processed, etc.
Sep 3, 2012

Many (including myself) have wondered aloud why so many of the pictures uploaded by Q shooters are B&W or otherwise 'arty' adventures. I found myself with the Q at a 'car hop' at a nearby Tiki Bar today (where else), and was snapping happily away. Twiddling a bit with my preset knob(a very useful feature of this little camera), I snapped the enclosed. I believe they are - natural, slightly saturated vibrant, and B&W w/yellow filter.

The Q's B&W jpeg process allows you to apply any one of many colored filters to the process, bumping different areas of contrast. I had no idea that feature was there until a couple of days ago - yahoo!.. coolest thing ever.
