yes it is spposed to be cleaned! ive just watched it on it youtube with lint free cloth and cleaning fluid. within time they will get dirty or a film will build up just like house mirrors, so i suppose they can be cleaned.

It's not supposed to be cleaned. The only thing you could do would be to use a bulb blower, under no circumstances must you touch the mirror.
