HX10V "Processing" after each shot??

Hello- I'm a frequent poster about RX100 stuff, but my relatives are visiting and asked me to help figure out why their beloved HX10V now says "processing" after each shot.

I only had a few seconds with the camera and didnt notice any crazy picture effects turned on- I said I would do a quick search online and get back to them later on-

I am thinking now that maybe they were using it in iAuto mode? Any suggestions on what would cause that "processing" message to come up/what to switch it to to get rid of it?
