Post processing from a specific camera.
Sep 2, 2012

I buy really nice models of particular camera manufacturer because of many reasons-the most important being I like the JPEG images that camera takes. That's it, no post processing-just keeping pictures on a really good compute with good graphics & monitor. I used a LX-5 & Lumix fz-150-both Panasonic products.

My question: Why is it-or should it bet-hat a picture shot RAW and post processed is still considered a picture from the camera it was taken from? Put another way-doesn't RAW & Post processing negate much of characteritics of the particular model it was shot with? If not; why not?
