I was under the impression that both DPM cameras had a 49 mm lens thread.

The DP2M certainly has a 49mm thread (I own one), so its almost a certainty that the
DP1M also has one.

When looking at specs, I can find no such info.

If you look on the accessories page, you'll find 49mm filters listed:

Thanx

AS a side question. Does the rear of the lens move while focussing? Or is it an inner focusing lens?

The rear, I don't know, I cannot look into the camera

The front-element of the DP2M moves back and forth. If you look
at a photo of the DP2M, the riffled part of the lens including the
front element, right inside the lens specification text on the front,
retracts by 3.5mm when the lens is set to infinity.

Greetings,
Robert

Thanx! Rear and front A typo. Sometimes its a handicap to write in a language that is not your own. Sometimes you write the wrong thing even in ones native language.

BTW - I really wanted to know if the lens thread moves
