Legacy Pentax Lenses with OM-D - Issues and Questions
8 months ago
|
Hello!
I thought I'd see if I could learn from the collective wisdom of the crowd for this one. I shoot with my OM-D E-M5 as well as a Pentax ME Super and K1000. I've mounted my SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4 lens onto my OM-D with a Rainbow Imaging PK-m4/3 adapter. My problem is that my photos are showing incredibly large amounts of bloom or CA in my photos (it's visible even in the EVF).
Does anyone know if this is a product of the lens? (like since they're older? or that I am shooting them wide open?) Is it my cheapo adapter altering the flange focal distance ever so slightly? Lastly, does anyone know if CA is correctable via a manually created Lightroom lens profile or other technique?
Thanks!
Cameron
