Caught the Blue Moon!

Very nice indeed. I see you had clouds too. I had to deal with a band of similar looking clouds left over from hurricane Isaac. I captured this photo with my Canon 60D. It is kind of similar to your photo. The clouds look very ominous with the Blue Moon backlighting them. I'll readily admit that I took a few dozen photos before I got one that balanced the bright moon with the dark clouds. I had to get just the right amount of cloud cover over the moon to make it work.
