**** This Week Thru Your M43 (September 1, 2012) ****
Sep 1, 2012

Hi M43ers! Let's first start with an invitation to all microfourthirds shooters to contribute. Whether you are a total newbie or an experienced photographer, the weekly C&C thread is an opportunity to share, collaborate, and grow. If you've been standing on the sidelines, get in the game and participate!

Also if you post at later in the week, sometimes you may not get comments on your photo. Please feel free to repost again if you would like people to look at your images.

M43 Onion Planet of the M43 Apes

Photographers Bob, Ray, and Aleo are hibernating in their spaceship, when it suddenly crash lands on a distant planet in another solar system. For this trip, the brave astronauts were sponsored by CaNikon and traveled with FF gear and a heavy bags full of lenses and accessories.

When finally they are found, by apes wearing clothes and speaking languages, they realize that they are now in a world where M43 cameras rule the photographic times. The apes scoffed and sneered at the large camera bodies, mirror boxes, and LoCA fringing lenses. Indeed, the photographers wished they had brought their usual mirrorless gear, and had not fallen for the promises of larger FF sensors. The apes banished them to the tiny, not well-visited DPR Penta-Rikoh-Dak, where they spent the rest of their forum time thinking, "Oh EM5! I'm sorry I left you behind."

Eventually Bob and Ray are able to escape the Planet of the M43 Apes, while Aleo stays behind, falling in love with a beautiful local. The two find their spaceship and set off to return to Earth. Years and years later with the voyage completed, Bob and Ray land in New York, much to their disappointment. They realized upon landing that B&H had closed and moved to another location due to climate change. No EM5s in stock today, weary space travelers.
