Need help/advice - salvaging RAW photos from a damaged SDHC card

Best you put the card in a card reader connected to your pc or laptop.

Then download PhotoRec from http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec and follow the instructions ( http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec_Step_By_Step )

Like other posters said before, your computer must see that there is a card inserted into the card reader but unlike most other recovery software PhotoRec isn't depended on your OS to read the card.

(PhotoRec helped me to recover all my Photo data (1TB raw; Tiff and jpeg) from a corrupted hard disk)
