I imagine the GX1 having similar platform as the LX cameras, with menu controls that are reasonably intuitive. Reading the manual is always good wisdom.

Thanks! I got last weekends deal from Amazon. It went on sale for $399 with the kit lens. The price went back up, but I'm sure they'll go on sale again real soon.
