In Adobe Reader if you go into the Preferences, there is a category called Internet, and there's a group called Web Browser Options, and a checkbox for "Display PDF in browser"
Ok, I disabled the "Display PD in browser" option but the problem remains - when the link is selected in Mail, a blank window appears in Safari.
