SEL50 1.8 making noise while focusing

I thinks its the sound of the Aperture blades moving that you are hearing. I have that noise as well when I change the Aperture or half press the shutter button

Do you find that the lens is very slow to focus in fading light? - Much slower than the kit lens and 16mm e-mounts.
