D800 or 5D MIII For Portrait/Party Photography?

Hi all. This question may have been asked previously (couldn't find a thread), but which camera do you think is better for portrait photography -D800 or 5D MIII?

I know they are very similar cameras, but if you own either camera or have used them, would love your opinion. Would most likely use a 85mm and a 24-70mm lens with the cameras.
