Would be nice if you would take the same shot with the kit lens and compare with each other.

Most pics posted regardless of lens look sharp. Only way of seeing a difference is to see a comparison of 2 pics with the same settings and time to show the difference.

I'm not saying your lens isn't sharp. But if you would have posted those pics and told us they were with the kit lens then we would have believed you.
