"The Guard" showed up today, tamed the %@#$@ video button

I received a package today from Rick Luther containing one of his "The Guard" widgets for the NEX7. It took all of five minutes to install - it's a custom made metal grommet that mounts in the video button hole of the rubber cover. You gently peel back the cover, press the grommet in to the hole in the rubber cover and press the cover back down.

Very simple and very ingenious. I need to use a pen cap or a key to press the video button now, people with smaller fingers or fingernails can probably do it without tools. I never use video mode on my NEX7, so this is totally acceptable to me.

I like it! Well worth the $20 to me.
