650D: Disadvantage of replacing bad rubber grips? Locked

Bought mine when they first became available. It's part of the first batch from the recalled list of serial numbers. Still absolutely no problems with grips turning white, rash etc. My take is that canon is being overly cautious about the recall. Just thought I'd post this to let others know.
