The X-E1 could have had an optical viewfinder

Their square pop up flash would have made more sense as an eye level viewfinder, there's a perfectly good Hot shoe right next to it. That would have promoted their own flash units as well. Who makes a pop up flash square like that anyway? What is it with these camera companies? An LCD is nice to have, but a camera needs a viewfinder. Maybe they want us to spend over a thousand dollars for something that should have been there all along. I can't be the only one looking for a viewfinder!
