K-30 not to Japanese taste? (sales stats)

We'll have to see how it goes. I think it is still early days though.

I went to the Koenji Awa-Odori on the weekend which is a huge traditional dance festival in Tokyo (12000 dancers and 1 million spectators). And my camera was a head turner. In a sea of black, my orange K-30 must have stood out as many, many of the dancers would focus on my camera, giving it a huge smile. I couldn't see this reaction to other cameras, and I was looking for it.
