D600 - small form factor

It sounds like the D600 might be the small form factor that some of us want. nikonrumors.com seems to have more info on the camera and they all sound great. If the camera is as small and light as a Nikon FE with a MD-12 built in and with 24MP, it might be a better camera choice for myself than a D800. The price certainly sounds better at a rumored $1500 as opposed to $3000 - $3300.
