Decided against the D800

Firstly many thanks to people who gave me advise on technique as I was unsure I could maximise the real benefits of this camera. However you reassured me that I could, but once I have taken a much more considered look at my budget I decided against it for the following reasons.
I just can't see me affording the trinity lenses or primes that will really do this camera justice. The 24-85 and the 24-120 whilst good, I still don't think they get the best out of the sensor. IMHO I think its a waste putting cheap glass on this body, yes you will get good images but you should really want great IQ.
Also given the high pixel count and the use of RAW I think I would need to upgrade my PC and also buy more SD and CF cards.
I know you can always add on later, but I saw a clip on tube that really made my mind up, basically the guy said if you can't afford the glass don't buy the body, and for me I must agree with him.
I guess its back to buying an APS with some nice glass, here are some images I have taken with APS not tack sharp but I will have to make do for now, we can all dream but sometimes we have to be realistic, I don't want a Porsche with a 1.3 engine!!
