No D7000 replacement?

I have this distinct feeling that the D7000 is being replaced by the D600. The D5200 will be upgraded (better construction, more external controls, deeper buffer, speedier, better AF unit, etc) to close the remainder of the gap left by the D7000. Then, sometime from now, they might release a D400 - pro-DX, high-level, rugged, etc - priced above the D600.
