I use the Op/Tech neoprene wrist strap for compact cameras for my GX1. Small, light-weight, and comfortable. It has a quick-connect buckle that lets you unclip the wrist strap from the small loop that connects to the camera, and I've also got the nifty adjustable neck strap that can be connected in place of the wrist strap. It's easy to put both in a camera bag, and if there are times when you want both hands free, use the neck strap. B&H sells a kit that includes both of those and a finger-loop:

Yes, the cord that is used is small diameter, but it appears to be a pretty tough braided nylon, and I'm not concerned about it breaking. If you've gotta have something that really looks beefy, though, this isn't what you want.
