Help choosing the 50mm f1.2l USM or 85mm f1.2l II USM

I am looking at buying my first prime lens and this prime lens will be manly for portrait and everyday walk around lens. Between the two lenses which would you choose of the two and why?

What I see. I have heard focus issues occur with the 50mm. I love the ammount of glass used in the 85mm. I think both lenses are great and will do a perfect job but what do you think and why?
