GF1 Finially died, worth fixing?

After years of use (or perhaps abuse) my GF1 has quit. The symptoms are the power button does not seem to be working. I turn it on but it does not come on until I fiddle with the shutter and power button. Then it turns off after 5-30 seconds. Obviously not the reliable camera I have come to count on.

Is this worth fixing or is it time to upgrade? anyone have any experience repairing them in the UK?
