OS and Mobo, Mobo and OS

My W2000 is the legal, official, retail boxed, MS CD. SP3 and I update to SP4.

I have saved all of this thread (as flat view so all of it is actually on my PC) and I'm sure I'll refer to it when I finally go to W 7. May be sooner or later, depending if my boot problem can be easily fixed (new PSU?) or whatever.
