Who's been to Turkey? Should I bring my tripod or my GorillaPod?

For city stuff at night, you're going to need to rest the Gorillapod on something, the beanbag does pretty much the same thing. For day time there's plenty enough light.

I've only been to Istanbul, but there's enough there to keep you going for years. A wonderful city. You may find your 10% people ratio goes up!
