I had similar problem, but updated my version of EOS Utility, provided you have EOS Utility installed, you can download the latest EOS Utility updater from the Canon USA site and the problem should resolve itself.
Running a Late 2011 13" MBP, Lion 10.7.4 16gb RAM

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a differrent result. Taking the same shot, w/the same exposure and expecting greatness- Hasn't happened for ME, yet... How about you?
