Video card or not?

My PC has just died and I’m thinking about the next one. It will come from a company who will build to the customer’s specification. Quietness is important for me, so I'm considering one where I take the video display from the main CPU, rather than a separate video card. I’m not interested in playing games and video is not particularly important. I’m mainly interested in good colour rendition for photo editing.

Any comments?
